8-30-2015 “THE AGE OF THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT” Col. 1:25-27

In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study of what some call the least taught doctrine in the modern Church, The Age Of The Indwelling Holy Spirit.  Rom. 8:9 tells us that every Christian is indwelt with God’s Holy Spirit and if not we are not a Christian.  There are three aspects of God’s Holy Spirit 1) identity 2) personality 3) His role in our personal life.  Today Bro. Leo teaches on the identity of God’s Holy Spirit.  The scriptures identify God’s Holy Spirit as being like the wind and moving water.  His Holy Spirit, like the wind and moving water, always makes His presence known with energy and movement.  His Holy Spirit will make Himself known to others by outflows of energy and movement of Christians.  This is the reason Christians are left in this world after being saved instead of being raptured to heaven immediately.   God’s Holy Spirit uses the life of the Christian to reveal himself to the lost folks, if in fact the Christian will allow Him to.

To learn more about God’s Holy Spirit and His power that is available to every believer, listen to this message and click “follow” on this blog.  Bro. Leo will be teaching about God’s Holy Spirit until Christmas time this year, Lord willing, so please listen to the messages and learn what God has to offer by way of Hos Holy Spirit to the believer.

Scriptures used in today’s message:

Col 1:25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Joh 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

8-16-2015 “WHO “HE” IS!” John 14:16-17, 26

In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study of God’s Holy Spirit by teaching the attributes of His Holy Spirit found in the scriptures.  The Bible tells us His Holy Spirit has 1) an identity  2) a role  3) a personality  4) qualities  5) activities  6) capabilities  7) powers  8) energy.

John the Baptist prophesied and Jesus promised the gift of His Holy Spirit, so every true Christian is indwelt with His Holy Spirit.  It has been said that 9 out of 10 true Christians never tap into the power of His Holy Spirit.  This is a very sad fact considering His Holy Spirit always declares His presence and existence, in the believer, by a manifestation of His power and energy.  Every true believer experienced this supernatural experience the day they were saved, but few ever seek His power again.  It was the power of His Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead and that same power is available to every true Christian, if we will just seek it.

8-9-2015 “YOUR HOLY OF HOLIES!” 1Cor. 6:19

In today’s message Bro. Leo continues his teaching on God dwelling within each spiritually born again Christian.  To be able to understand that our body is the temple we have to look at what exactly the temple was in the Old Testament.  1) God dwelled in the OT Temple  2) God would meet with His people in the OT Temple  3)  God would speak to His people in the Temple.  Now that our bodies are the Temple, we can and should expect 1)  God’s Holy Spirit to dwell in us  2) God will meet with us anytime we desire  3)  God will speak to us.  The beginning of and the earnest of our salvation is the day God’s Holy Spirit comes to dwell with our spirit.

1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

8-2-2015 “YOUR MOST HOLY PLACE!” Exo. 25:8-9, 21-22

When we as Christians pray, what is our expectations? Do we simply expect God to hear our prayers or do we expect to hear God talk with us spirit to spirit?

In today’s message Bro. Leo teaches what most of Religion neglects to teach, which is the indwelling of His Holy Spirit in every true Christian and our ability to converse with Him there.  Every spiritually born again Christian has the ability within to converse with God and be instructed by God in all matters.

If you are not sure if God’s Spirit dwells in you or if you have never experienced conversing with God one on one, please listen to this message and study these scriptures.
