11-28-2021 “TO WORSHIP THE SON OF GOD!” Luke 1:30-32

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a study of worship in truth by comparing the all inclusive “we all worship the same God” theology that is being spewed out by the communist one world government leaders to what the Word of God actually says.

On a banner at the Islamic center of Nashville it says “there is only one God (Allah), he has no son”. If you look that phrase up on the internet you will find it is one of the foundational teachings of Islam.

Contrary to the “all inclusive” crowd, the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin through a super natural conception (Luke 1:30-32, Mark 5:7). In Luke 1:30 an Angel testifies to Mary that Jesus will be the Son of God and in Mark 5:7 a fallen angel testifies that Jesus is in fact the Son of God. Jesus being the Son of God is the one fact that separates Christianity from all other religions. The only way for the “all inclusive” crowd to succeed is by removing Jesus as the Son of God, which contradicts the Scriptures and can in no way be worshipping God in spirit and in truth. The “all inclusive” crowd is conditioning folks for the one world government and the one world religion.

As usual, Bro. Leo teaches several Scriptures concerning Jesus the Son of God and makes several points contrary to the “all inclusive” crowd, more so than I can cover in this blog. Please listen to this audio file for all the detailed Scriptures.

Scriptures used in today’s study:

Luk 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Luk 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Mar 5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
Mar 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
Mar 5:3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Mar 5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
Mar 5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
Mar 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
Mar 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Luk 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Mat 17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Mat 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1Jn 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
1Jn 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1Jn 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
1Jn 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1Jn 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1Jn 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

11-21-2021 “TO WORSHIP THE CREATOR!” John 1:1-3

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a study of worship by looking at the first truth of the Bible and how true worship starts with acknowledging God as our Creator God.

John 1:1-3 explains to us that Jesus created everything into existence. In vs.3 the word “made” is translated from the Greek word “ginomai” which means to be made, formed or created out of nothing.

Col.1:16-17 tells us that Jesus not only created everything, but He also holds everything together, He sustains everything He has created. Psa.104 tells us He created us, He sustains us and He provides for us.

Rom.1:18-25 explains what happens to folks who are taught and believe the “Big Bang” theory. They loose their ability to worship God. Creation is the first Biblical truth that we must acknowledge before we can worship God in spirit and in truth.

All of creation belongs to Him, including each of us (Psa.95:1-6). We worship Him because as our creator He is worthy of worship (Rev.4:8-11).

Acknowledging the Creator God is the beginning of worship.

Scriptures used in today’s study:

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Psa 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

Psa 148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Psa 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Psa 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Psa 104:15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
Psa 104:16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
Psa 104:17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
Psa 104:18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

Psa 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Psa 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Psa 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Rev 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

11-14-2021 “WORSHIP IS WORTH-SHIP!” John 4:19-24

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a study of the seriousness of true worship by examining the true worship mindset.

In John 4:23 the word “worship” is translated from the Greek word “proskuneō” which means to fall down in reverence and awe, to kiss the hand of a superior with adoration and respect, fall down-prostrate before in obedience to. It signifies an inferior to a superior. Pledging your allegiance and loyalty to. Worship starts from the sincerity of our hearts (spirit and truth :24). In the English language “proskuneō” was originally translated “worthship”. The word “worthship” better describes “proskuneō” in the English language.

Worthship is the one thing that God seeks from us (John 4:23) and is so important to God that He gave it as the first commandment to us (Exo.20:1-5). In vs.5 the word “jealous” is translated from the Hebrew word “qannâ’” which means a character attribute of God; describes a unique part of God’s character towards the worship of idols or anything/anyone that takes the place of His rightful position in your life. God should be our highest priority and He in fact commands it. Worthship is placing God first and foremost in every area of our lives (Matt.10:37, Isa.42:8, Matt.6:33, Pro.3:5-7, Matt.7:7, Mal.3:10, Col.3:17, 23).

What worth do I put on my relationship with Jesus?

Scriptures used in today’s study:

Joh 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Exo 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Mat 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Col 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

11-7-2021 “THE SERIOUSNESS OF TRUE WORSHIP!” John 4:23-24

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a study of the seriousness of true worship, “end times” and Satan’s ultimate goal of being worshipped.

In this study Bro. Leo explains how the vaccine mandates, critical race theory and several other current trends are conditioning folks to be compliant and willing to worship Satan those last 3 years of the tribulation. For obvious reasons I will not be writing a synopsis on this, so please listen to this audio study to get those details.

“proskuneō” is not something that is just done on occasion, it is a lifestyle. In Matt.4:8-9 Satan is asking Jesus to become inferior to and make Satan superior. Jesus did not “proskuneō” Satan, but in the last 3 years of the tribulation folks will either “proskuneō” Satan or be killed (Rev.20:4).

Worship is the one thing that God seeks from us (John 4:23) and is so important to God that He gave it as the first commandment to us (Exo.20:1-5). In vs.5 the word “jealous” is translated from the Hebrew word “qannâ'” which means a character attribute of God; describes a unique part of God’s character towards the worship of idols or anything/anyone that takes the place of His rightful position in your life.

In Luke 14:26 the word “hate” is translated from the Greek word “miseō” which means less. Matt.10:37 verifies this definition. To worship God in spirit and truth we must put God as our highest priority (Isa.42:8).

The “Kingdomof God” always speaks about the rule of God in your life (Luke 9:57-63). Worshipping God in spirit and truth is having proper priority; God, family, country. The lack of proper priorities is why the U.S.A. is in the condition that we’re in now. The more dependent we become on the government the less dependent we become on God.

In this country we have leaders who worship self and therefore write laws to not only reinforce self worship but also self interest (Matt.23:1-2, 5-8). They’re priority is not God, family, country, it is self. As bad as that is, it is only possible if the rest of us go along with it for our own selfish reasons.

Rom.1:21-28 tells us what happens to a society that does not have proper priorities, “for this cause”.

Scriptures used in today’s study:

Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
