Χαρμολύπη (charmolypi)
This blog is to inform all the Wayne County Bible Center members and website subscribers that on the evening of August 6th Bro. Leo went home to be with Jesus. There will be a graveside service at 1:00pm Saturday at the Waynesboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery followed by fellowship at the Church. Please keep Patty, Daniel and Kylie in your prayers as well as our entire Church family.
Bro. Leo always told us he wanted us to celebrate his homecoming with Jesus and not to feel sad for him. But, he also knew that his family and Church family would, at the same time, sorrowfully miss him. Thus the title of this blog, Χαρμολύπη (charmolypi) refers to the joy that emerges out of the middle of sadness and (conversely) the sadness that merges out of joy: an integrated feeling that cannot exist without both sorrow and joy, dwelling together and giving rise to each other.
