2-15-2015 “HIS SPIRIT : WITHIN US, UPON US & AROUND US!” Phil. 2-12-13, part 3
In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study, of the presence of God, with this statement: “You have direct access as an individual to experience in a personal way God’s presence by His Holy Spirit. Don’t ever let a Preacher, Pastor, Priest or a religion get between you and God”. Our salvation and our relationship with God is simply between us as individuals and God. One of the roles of the Holy Spirit to teach us God’s truth’s (1John 2:27) and the Preacher’s, Pastor’s and Priest’s are here to help. An example would be seeking God. The clergy can only encourage us to seek God, but the Holy Spirit will actually draw us to God (John 6:44, 12:32). Religion and the clergy can help us with our relationship with God, but at the end of the day our relationship with God is ultimately between us as an individual and God. The work of His Holy Spirit is: 1) His Spirit comes upon us, 2) His Holy Spirit dwells within us, 3) His Holy Spirit reassures us that we are His (Rom. 8:9-11, 16).

In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study, of the presence of God, with these three Biblical principles: 1) The reality of Jesus’ presence in us, on us and around us by the Divine entity of His Holy Spirit. 2) Jesus desires us to be conscious of His presence with us. 3) Jesus wants us aware that He will never leave us alone.

2-1-2015 “HIS SPIRIT : WITHIN US, UPON US & AROUND US!” John 14:18, 20
In today’s message Bro. Leo started a new series on the importance of the reality of experiencing the presence of God through the indwelling of His Holy Spirit. When God saves us He indwells us with His Holy Spirit (1Co 3:16), which allows us the reality of this supernatural experience, being in the presence of the divine entity (God). We all celebrate our natural birth day and likewise all who are saved should know when we were saved and indwelt with His Holy Spirit. We may not remember the exact day, but we should be able to remember the season/our age when God saved us.
We also added a Bible study to our website for a more extensive study of God’s presence in us, “HIS SPIRIT : WITHIN US, UPON US & AROUND US!” John 14:18, 20.

1-25-2015 “THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD” Luke 1:30
In today’s message Bro. Leo started us on a Biblical look at experiencing the presence of God. All of us who have been saved have experienced the presence of God at the moment of our salvation, but how many of us believe and even expect to experience God’s presence on a daily basis and during corporate worship. This doctrine is one of the last doctrines Jesus gave to us during His earthly ministry.
We’ve also added a Bible study to our website on this subject for further study, “IN HIS PRESENCE!” Luke 1:30.

1-18-2015 “BELIEF, TRUST and SURRENDER!” Luke 1:38
In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study of fear with the Biblical solution to our fears. We have to put ourselves in a position that will allow God to do great things to us and for us. We accomplish this with faith. We believe God can and will do everything He has told us He will do in His Word. We trust God to do great things to us and for us. We surrender ourselves and our situation to God. Belief, Trust and Surrender!

1-11-2015 “GOD’S MESSAGE : FEAR NOT!” Luke 1-29-30
In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study of fear by explaining two Biblical principles that are required in order to remove our fears and the corresponding bondage of those fears. 1) We must change our mental focus from ourselves and our own limitations to God and His abilities. By doing so we will be placing ourselves in a position to experience the power and actions of God. 2) We must grab a hold of God in prayer and hang on to Him until He removes the fear from us.
Scriptures used in today’s message:
Luk 1:29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

We also added a corresponding Bible study (“THE FEARS OF CHRISTMAS” part 4 Luke 1:30) to the Bible study page for further study of this subject.
1-4-2015 “THE FEARS OF CHRISTMAS” part 2 Luke 1:30
In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study of fear and how a personal relationship with Jesus can and will remove fear from our lives.
Fear is in our minds and emotions. It is an emotional and intellectual anticipation of harm. When we are in a state of fear our minds and emotions run rampant with all kinds of different scenarios of what will happen at some future time (Adam and Eve are the first examples of this, Gen. 3:8-10). We are irrational while in a state of fear because fear does not come from God (2Tim. 1:7).
There are three principals of truth that God wants us to know.
1) Luke 1:28, The prevailing thought that God wants us to know is that He is with us.
2) Luke 1:28,30, Like Mary God favours us. The word favour is translated from the Greek word “charis” and it means unmerited, undeserved operation of God in the heart of man. The English word “charity” comes from the Greek word “charis”.
3) Luke 1:34-35, God will destroy our fears through His power and abilities, not our own.
In order for God to remove our fears we need to get alone with Him and let His Holy Spirit work on our minds and emotions. In other words we need to do our part in our personal relationship with Him so that He can do His part. God will never force us into this relationship, we must be willing to have one with Him and then work on it daily.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 3,900 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.
“THE FEARS OF CHRISTMAS!” Luke 1:28-30
In today’s message Bro. Leo explains one of the most important reasons of Christmas. Jesus came to us to take away our fears. Fear was introduced to man by Satan in the Garden of Edan, Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Adam’s fear was anticipation of being harmed. In his mind I’m sure were all kinds of scenarios of what was going to happen to him.
The same thing was happening in the minds of Mary Luke 1:29, Joseph Matt. 1:20, and the Shepard’s Luke 2:9. In all three cases the Angels told them “fear not”, Luke 1:30, Matt. 1:20 and Luke 2:10, because God is with you and He is in control.
Most of our fears are rooted in two areas 1) Our perceived control of our lives and 2) Our perceived thought of how others think about us.
Neither area considers God is right there with us.
Joh 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
Joh 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
After listening to this sermon, please confess your fears to the Lord and allow Him to free you from the bondage of your reoccurring fears. Psa 56:9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Psa 56:10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.
Psa 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
