10-19-2014 “AMERICA: A CHURCH IN DENIAL!” Luke 22:34, Rev. 3:17
If there ever was a “State of the Church” address this is what it would say!
The Christian American sings the hymn “Have thine own way Lord” on Sunday mornings, but Monday through Saturday we focus on our personal wealth and how we may increase it without any consideration for our need for God or God’s will in our actions. The sin of denial is evident in most areas of our lives through apathy, conformity and silence as our nation moves away from God and our 1st Amendment rights are being stripped away from us. We have become the church of the Laodiceans in Rev. 3. In Rev. 3:18 God is telling us we need to seek His will and in every opportunity take a stand for God and be the light to the world that He meant us to be. Things in this country will continue to decline until the Christian American finally takes a hard stand for the truth.
