In today’s message Bro. Leo explains how a Christian can and should be thankful in every situation they encounter. Instead of throwing a pity party over our circumstances we should be thankful for how God will use them to grow us and those around us spiritually.
One example that comes to my mind is in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision on Sodomite marriage. I’m starting to see how God is using this storm to strengthen Christians and give them a boldness that we have been lacking for quite some time. So, even though the Justice’s have steered our country in the wrong direction God is using them to build up and strengthen His people, if we allow Him to.
Because of the free will God gives us we can either give up and throw a pity party or we can allow God to use the storm to strengthen us and grow us spiritually. In this life we are blessed by growing in dependence on Jesus, so always be thankful for the results of the storms.
