This week Bro. Leo leads continues us in a study of what God needs from us in order for Him to fully bless us throughout the year ahead by studying the principles He gave Moses for the nation of Israel in order for them to enter into the Promised Land.

In our last study we learned the three entities involved in God’s principles of the promised land and to the life of a Christian. In Deut.11:11-15 we see three entities, 1)God 2) Nation of Israel 3) Promised Land. Applied to the NT Christian 1)God 2) Daily life of a Christian 3)God’s provisions/blessings.

This week we learn the principles God set forth for the Nation of Israel and the NT Church in order to receive the blessings of God in their fullest. 1) We must live in the center of God’s will (Deut. 11:9, Eph.1:16-20, Josh.3:1-5). 2) Our obedience to God’s will has to originate from our love for God (Deut. 11:13, Eph.3:16-19).

Deu 11:8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;
Deu 11:9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
Deu 11:12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
