5-8-2016 “OUR LORD, OUR MAJESTY ON HIGH!” Heb. 8:1

In today’s message Bro. Leo continues our study on the ascension of Jesus Christ by looking at the power that Jesus has at His disposal and the total disregard that not only America but also the Church in America has towards that power.

God reveals to us through His Word that Jesus ascended into heaven after His resurrection and now sits on the right hand of God (Mark 16:19).  God also reveals to us in Heb. 8:1 that Jesus is sitting on the right hand of the throne of majesty.  The Greek word translated majesty in the English is megalōsunē which means infinite greatness.  In John 8:23 and 3:31 God reveals to us the true hierarchy of Himself and man.

America in general and many Christians in America are disregarding the absolute hierarchy between man and God.  In doing so, they are disregarding the infinite power of God and His wrath (Psa. 50).  America and many American Christians are calling God’s testimonies lies (John 3:33).  A few examples are approval of transgenderism (Gen. 5:2), sodomite marriage (Matt. 19:4-5), evolution (Gen. 1:1) and abortion (Psa. 139:13).  We all are not more than one phone call or one day away from being driven to our knees (Psa. 50: 22-23).
