8-28-2016 “THE POWER and WONDER OF ANSWERED PRAYER!” part 2, John 14:13-14

This week Bro. Leo continues our study of faith with a look at part 2 of the faith that expects God to answer prayer.

To accomplish an effective prayer we must keep these three things in our mind, 1) God desires/delights to answer our prayers (Luke 11:13).  2)  Our desire to have our prayer align with God’s will (1John 5:14-15).  3)  We should be looking forward to Glorifying God publicly for answering our prayer (Luke 18:43).

Answered prayers  1) are a necessity in our life 2) should be expected 3) are the greatest motivation to a regular prayer life.

If you are not experiencing answered prayers and a regular daily prayer life, here is a link that will help you develop the discipline and knowledge to do so.  http://excelstillmoredevotionals.blogspot.com/2016/06/watch-ramparts-6-week-prayer-strategy.html
This is an invitation to be a part of a 6 week ‘community’ for the purpose of positioning ourselves to move toward that goal of a heart fully given to Him by feasting on the living Word of God and attending to a few spiritual disciplines that we all, in the midst of the busyness of daily life, need to be refocused on from time to time.
