8-28-2022 “GOD WORKING IN YOU…NOW; WHERE?” Philippians 2:12-13

This week Bro. Leo continues us on our study of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus, by looking at how God works in our lives. Can you identify the areas in your life where God is doing a work in? Is there areas in your life where God is not working and why is that?
Last week looked at the Biblical identification of every true born again Christian. Col.3:1-4 identifies Christian’s lives are covered by Christ’ life. Our life is no longer ours, it is now our life in Christ. Our self identity as my life in Christ gives me my self worth, self esteem and self purpose as long as it’s based on my life in Christ. We should identify as a born again, spirit indwelt child of God (John 3, Rom.8, Eph.2). We are to take seriously our relationship with God. We must realize that God desires and is working in us and is for us and through us (Phil.2:12-13). God has a plan and purpose for our lives and we need to be seeking it out.
Three results from God working in us, on us and through us:
1) we will be blessed
2) God will be glorified
3) others will be ministered to
In Phil.2:12-13 tells us that God works in our daily lives if we allow Him to (work out your own salvation). It’s common among Christians to only see Jesus at the moment of their salvation and they see Him in Heaven, but they fail to see Him working in their day to day lives (Phil.1:6). Rom.8:9, Gal.4:6, Col.1:27 tells us that the Holy Spirit must be indwelling us if we are in fact a Christian, so we need to know without a doubt whether or not the Holy Spirit is indwelling us (2Cor.13:5, Acts 19:2, Heb.5:11-14).
In 1Thes.5:12-24 we find 17 directives (work out our salvation) that we must do (vs.12-22) in order to allow God to work in us (vs.23-24). God is faithful to His work in every area of our lives, but we must be willing to have God search us and reveal to us the areas we need to turn over to Him and then ask Him to do a work in those areas (Psa.139:23). The word “search” in Psa.139:23 is translated from the Hebrew word “châqar” which means to search out diligently and deeply. The word “know” in Psa.139:23 is translated from the Hebrew word “yâda‛” which means to consider and reveal my heart. The word “try” in Psa.139:23 is translated from the Hebrew word “bâchan” which means to test or examine. The word “see” in Psa.139:24 is translated from the Hebrew word “râ’âh” which means reveal to me what you see.
There are four reasons why we do not seek God’s work in every area of our lives. 1) not been taught that God desires to be in action in every area of our lives 2) don’t want God to work in some areas of our life, because we think we’re okay handling it on our own 3) we think we’re not good enough or worthy enough for God work in us 4) not willing to do our part so that God can do a work in those areas of our lives.
Scriptures used in today’s study:
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
1Th 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
1Th 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
1Th 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1Th 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
1Th 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Despise not prophesyings.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
8-21-2022 “MY IDENTITY IN CHRIST!” Colossians 3:1-4

This week Bro. Leo continues us on our study of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Last we studied the Biblical purpose of our lives in Christ.
This purpose is two fold, 1) our daily walk in our present life (vs.12-14), 2) our eternal life (vs.20). In vs.12 the word “perfect” is translated from the Greek root word “telos” which means completeness, full maturity, to be full grown in faith and knowledge of the truth and character and virtue and understanding of the Scriptures. In vs.14 the word “high” is translated from the Greek word “anō” which means upward or above, heavenly or celestial, pertaining to things that above, heavenly and divine. In vs.14 the word “calling” is translated from the Greek word “klēsis” which means call towards or invite, go in a certain direction. Paul is telling us here that as Christians we have been called to live out a higher purpose of God in our present life through our personal life changing relationship with Jesus with an eye towards the future. Our perspective should always be a moving forward and a moving up. We should be seeking God’s purpose for our lives daily. We know that we are going to Heaven for eternity. Our lives have eternal consequences that effect ourselves and those around us (Pro.15:24, Psa.121:1, Psa.40:1-3, Matt.18:1-3, 5-8). The calling of God is that we set examples for those around us (Phil.3:17, Matt.5:13-16). We should put greater value on our relationship with Jesus than on our worldly possessions and statures and like Paul, we should be seeking for God to increase His knowledge and purpose in our lives (Phil.3:7-11, Phil.2:12-13, Matt.6:19-21, ).
This week look at the Biblical identification of every true born again Christian.
3) others will be ministered to
We live in the power of the faith of Jesus (Gal.2:20). It’s no longer I that lives but Christ living in me. We should be praying that Christ will increase in our lives daily (John 3:30-31). This mindset will empower us, free us, will help us with decision making and relationships and every area of our lives. The more our old self dies, the more Christ increases in our life.
Rom.8:1 explains that we are reconciled to God, because the sin barrier is removed. We now have a personal relationship with God.
Most folks lack a strong unwavering Christ centered, positive self worth. A lot of folks, both Christians and lost folks, self identify these four ways.
1) How others think or say about us.
2) Worldly achievements and failures.
3) Self glorification or notoriety.
4) Worldly possessions.
Scriptures used in today’s study:
Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Joh 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
Joh 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
8-14-2022 “THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD!” Philippians 3:12-14

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a Biblical study of the reason for the decline in the American society with a look at how the Bible tells Christians we should be living.
I have a prayer request before I continue this weeks synopsis. Please pray for Bro. Leo and his wife Patty, Patty’s Dad passed away today. Please pray that Patty does not lose hope that her Dad could have accepted Jesus into his heart during those final moments of his life.
In Phil. 3:12-14, 20 we find the Christian’s purpose in life, the “high calling of God in Christ”.
The first settlers/Pilgrims to come to America, came here to fulfil their “High calling to God”. Here are a couple of the quotes found in the Founders Bible: (https://shop.wallbuilders.com/product/the-founders-bible/)
The First Charter of Virginia; April 10, 1606
We, greatly commending, and graciously accepting of, their Desires for the Furtherance of so noble a Work, which may, by the Providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the Glory of his Divine Majesty, in propagating of Christian Religion to such People, as yet live in Darkness and miserable Ignorance of the true Knowledge and Worship of God, and may in time bring the Infidels and Savages, living in those parts, to human Civility, and to a settled and quiet Government: DO, by these our Letters Patents, graciously accept of, and agree to, their humble and well-intended Desires;
THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT November, 1620
IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the first Colony in the northern Parts of Virginia; Do by these Presents, solemnly and mutually, in the Presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid: And by Virtue hereof do enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions, and Officers, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general Good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due Submission and Obedience.
Bro. Leo continues with quotes of the 1629 Mass. Bay colony charter, 1643 New England colony affirmation, 1630 John Winthrop charter.
Just like those Pilgrims, everything we do should be done under the authority of God (Col.3:17).
Scriptures used in today’s study:
Php 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Pro 15:24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
Psa 121:1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Psa 40:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
Psa 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Psa 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Php 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Php 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
Php 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Php 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Php 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Mat 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Mat 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Col 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
Col 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Col 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
8-7-2022 “THE NATION THAT FORGETS GOD!” part3 Romans 1:21,28

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a Biblical study of the reason for the decline in the American society. Part 3 covers the rightful place of God in a nation and in individuals, as well as some of the Founding Fathers thoughts about God and education.
Satan’s strategy in America is to remove God from our nation by removing God from our education system and the results are found in Psa.50:22 and Psa.9:17.
Our Founding Father’s acknowledged God as the Supreme Ruler. Quotes from the Founding Fathers (found in the Founder’s Bible https://www.amazon.com/Founders-Bible-NASB-David-Barton/dp/1618710060/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1X2ZRJ0F82JRW&keywords=founders+bible+david+barton&qid=1659903682&sprefix=founders+bible%2Caps%2C1104&sr=8-1)
“Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor – and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.” George Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation, 1789
“As the safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and blessing of Almighty God; and the national acknowledgment of this truth is not only an indispensable duty which the people owe to Him” John Adams Proclamation for a Day of Fasting & Humiliation, March 23, 1798
“acknowledging and adoring an overruling providence, which by all its dispensations proves that it delights in the happiness of man here, and his greater happiness hereafter; with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people?” Thomas Jefferson First Inaugural Address, 4 March 1801
“Whereas, the Senate of the United States devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for national prayer and humiliation; and Whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history: that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord; And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisement in this world..” Abraham Lincoln, National Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer, MARCH 30, 1863
The word “hallowed” in Matt.6:9 is translated from the Greek word “hagiazō” which means honor, reverence, respect. We are recognizing God’s rightful place. The Matt.6:10 prayer is asking 1)God to bring His Kingdom to earth and 2)asking for God’s will within our life, submitting to the authority of God in our daily walk.. Matt.6:11 is praying for God’s provisions to us. (Pro.3:5-9, 2, 4, 10)
In Pro.1:7 the word “knowledge” is translated from the Hebrew word root word “yâda‛” which means knowing or learning, giving of facts/truth’s, learning skills. The word “instruction” in vs.8 is translated from the Hebrew word root word “yâsar” which means to teach discipline, convey orally or in action, give instructions, receive knowledge. God is the source of all knowledge (Job 21:22).
Bro. Leo dedicates this part of the study to all the teachers in our Country and the Godly job they are performing in our schools. Then he quotes the first Harvard University mission statement, 1635 and a statement in 1790 and their two motto’s “for the glory of Christ” and “for Christ in the Church”.
Massachusetts passed the Old Deluder Satan Act in 1647, laying the basis for public schools in America. The Puritans valued literacy highly; they believed all individuals should be able to read and interpret the Bible for themselves. The religious basis of the act was explicit: the act stated its intention was to thwart “ye old deluder, Satan” in his goal “to keepe men from the knowledge of ye Scriptures.” To this end, the law required every town with 50 or more families to hire and maintain a teacher to instruct all children in reading and writing. Towns of 100 or more families were required to support a grammar school to prepare students to attend Harvard College.

7-31-2022 “THE NATION THAT FORGETS GOD!” part2 Romans 1:21

This week Bro. Leo continues us on a Biblical study of the reason for the decline in the American society. This week Bro. Leo teaches what the Bible describes the attributes of the Anti-Christ spirit leading up to the One World Government/Religion.
Last week we learned in Rom.1:21 the word “glorified” is translated from the Greek word “doxazō” which means to exalt in dignity as one acknowledges excellency and splendor. In 1Tim.6:16 the word “Potentate” is translated from the Greek word “dunastēs” which means supreme ruler or authority. In America most of our leaders, media and higher education educators refuse to acknowledge, glorify and thank God. No God = no high calling of God (Phil.3:14) = no hierarchy = no nation under God. Our Country is being led by people with a Marxist/Humanist mindset that want to destroy our Nation in order to usher in their One World Government. People with that mindset have taken over the Government education system and are successfully teaching their ideology to the younger generations. That ideology leaves the people with an emptiness and without hope because they do not know the love God has for them (John 10:10).
One of the attributes of the Anti-Christ spirit will be the desire to remove God from the thoughts of the people (Rom.1:28). One of the ways this has been accomplished is by removing God from the K-12 classrooms in America. The Anti-Christ has been telling the lie that it is unconstitutional for faculty and students to exercise their faith freely in the classrooms. With this lie they have effectively removed the knowledge of the high calling of God (Phil.3:13-14, 19-21) for the students. Without this knowledge the students can no longer know the love God has for them or the plan He has for their lives. This leaves the students with a sense of hopefulness and leads to all the mass shootings we have seen in the classrooms in America.
Another Anti-Christ attribute that we are experiencing in America is the desire to remove National borders. God determined the national boarders (Acts 17:24-28), but the Anti-Christ spirit has always desired to remove the boarders and unite all peoples in order to remove their attention from God and place it upon themselves (Gen.11:1-9).
This study Biblically describes the actions of the Anti-Christ spirit in the American progressive/woke movement that American Christians need to recognize and resist. Please take a few minutes to listen to this study, I assure you, you will begin to recognize the Anti-Christ spirit in a lot of the American current political stage.

7-17-2022 “RESTING IN THE PERFECT FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST!” Hebrews 10:11-14

This week David Sisk fills in for Bro. Leo and leads us on a Biblical study on the finished work of Christ and how His work effects our salvation.
In Col.1:15-17 we are told that Jesus created all of creation. In Gen.1:31-2:1-2 we read that creation was perfect, therefore nothing else was needed to be done so Jesus rested.
In Heb.10:11-14 we read that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross was a perfect sacrifice for our sins and no other sacrifice was needed, so Jesus rested on the right hand of God.
In Eph.2:8-9 we read that salvation is a gift from God and can not be earned by us, but is freely given to those who have faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross.
In Phil.1″6 we read that God secures His gift of salvation in the believer. So, the question becomes “why do so many Christians attempt to earn their salvation or retain their salvation via good works instead of resting in the perfectly finished work of Christ?”.

7-10-2022 “GOD’S TRUTH OR MAN’S LIES!” Romans 1:25

This week Bro. Leo continues us in our study of TRUTH by looking at how the truth of God is being changed into a lie in our Country.
Last week we learned in Romans 1 Paul describes a society’s actions prior to God’s judgement falling upon that society. In vs.25 and 23 they changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served corruptible self instead of God. In vs.28 they removed God from their knowledge. In vs.32 they deny there will be a judgement of God by taking pride in their sins. If we are honest with ourselves we can see that our society, here in the USA, has been doing what Paul describes in Romans 1 for 100+ years.
Bro. Leo reads several Founding Fathers quotes from the Founders Bible (https://shop.wallbuilders.com/product/the-founders-bible-digital-edition/) which proves the Founders devotion to the Christian faith. As well as the founding Mission statement of Harvard University.
In Psa.2:1 the word “rage” is translated from the Hebrew word “râgash” which means to be in an uproar or commotion, to be a tumultuous assembly of people. This is how the people who are rejecting God’s truth and spewing lies are acting in our society today.
In Isa.30:15 the word “quietness” is translated by the Hebrew word “shâqaṭ” which means to be at rest, settled and undisturbed, a state of tranquility, to possess a sense of safety and security. This is how Christians are acting during these times.
This synopsis does not come close to covering all the points in this study, so please take some time and listen to this audio file for all the details.

7-3-2022 “CHANGING THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE!” Romans 1:25

This week Bro. Leo continues us in our study of TRUTH by looking at how the truth of God is being changed into a lie in our Country.
In Romans 1 Paul describes a society’s actions prior to God’s judgement falling upon that society.
Bro. Leo reads a couple Founding Fathers quotes from the Founders Bible by David Barton (https://shop.wallbuilders.com/product/the-founders-bible/).
“The Bible contains more knowledge necessary to man in his present state than any other book in the world. By renouncing the Bible, philosophers swing from their moorings upon all moral subjects..It is the only correct map of the human heart that ever has been published.” Benjamin Rush
“The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts.” John Jay
“No book in the world deserves to be so unceasingly studied, and so profoundly meditated upon as the Bible.” John Quincy Adams
“All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.” Noah Webster
In 1782 the Congress unanimously voted to print Bible’s in the English language for all Americans. The commonly spewed phrase “separation of Church and State” is a lie told by the folks trying to destroy this Country.
In the 1930’s German Marxists were forced out of Germany by the Nazi’s. These Marxists came to the USA with a mission of taking over the American school system. In order to do this they had to remove the natural order, God-Family-Country by taking God out and stressing Patriotism first. In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower pushed Congress to add the words “one nation under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance in an attempt to fight off the threat of Communism in our Country. This phrase stresses that the USA is under God’s authority (Psa.33, Matt.6:33, Prov.3:6).
In Rom.1:28 the word “reprobate” is translated from the Greek word “adokimos: which means useless or worthless. In vs.22 Paul tells us as they became “woke” they actually became fools. They are given over to their own lusts, desires and wants, which actually allows them to self destruct and destroy everything around them (Phil.3:18-19).
The “woke” folks love to tell everyone to “love your neighbor as yourself”, but they neglect the fact that “love your neighbor as yourself” is the 2nd Commandment. The first and greatest Commandment is “thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength” (Mark 12:29-31). The “woke” folks remove the authority of God so that they can become the authority to themselves (Rom.1:19-20, 28, 2Thess.2_3-4).

6-26-2022 “WHAT IS TRUTH?” part2 John 18:37-38

This week Bro. Leo continues us in our study of TRUTH.
Last week we learned that the Bible is very specific that the truth of God and Gods’ truth is the only absolute truth (Gen.1:1-5, 26-27, 31, Gen.2:1, Exo.19:16-20, Exo.20:1-3, 12-17, Duet.6:4-5, Isa.45:5-8, Isa.42:8, John 1:1-3, 14, 18, Acts 4:10, 12). God is the sole source of absolute truth and His truth never changes, is never relative, arbitrary or fluid. Contrary to Gods’ absolute truth, mans’ truth is arbitrary, relative and fluid (Jer.17:9-10, Rom.3:4). We have the free will to choose to believe Gods’ absolute truth or reject it (John 8:43-45). Gods’ absolute truth is and has been being attacked in our Nation by all those wanting to usher in the New World Order, knowing the only way to do that is by destroying the Nation from the inside via the education and political systems removing Gods’ truth by replacing it with lies from Satan (Rom.1:18, 28, 32, 19-20, Rom.2:14-15, 20, 25, 1Tim.4:1-2, Rom.1:21, 25, 2Tim.3:7). This all being done in order to strip us of our freedoms and liberty’s enslaving us to the NWO (John 8:31-32, 36).
This week we learn that the word “truth” in John 18:37 is translated from the Greek word “alētheia” which Spiros Zodhiates defines as reality, absolute certainty and fact. Pure unadulterated reality that’s source is God.
Gods’ Word establishes a hierarchy with God above all else which allows for a set of parameters for us to live by (2Pet.1:20-21, 2Tim.3:16-17). What we are seeing in this country now is nothing less than deception and half truth’s (2Tim.3:13).
I’m not going to go into details here, but Bro. Leo describes the deception we all seen this week following the SCOTUS ruling on Roe v. Wade (John 8:42-44).
There is only one truth, by definition it is impossible to have a “my truth” and “your truth” (1John 1:6-8), truth is not whatever you want to make it be.
(Bro. Leo did not include this in the study) I like to compare definitions of words between the Webster’s Dictionary 1828 and the latest Webster’s version, this is the 1828 definition of “truth”:
TRUTH, noun
1. Conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. The truth of history constitutes its whole value. We rely on the truth of the scriptural prophecies.

Or his revealed will.

12. Jesus Christ is called the truth John 14.
13. It is sometimes used by way of concession.

That is, it is a truth; what you have said, I admit to be true.
In truth in reality; in fact.
Of a truth in reality; certainly.
To do truth is to practice what God commands. John 3.
Here’s the current version:
Definition of truth
